Submission are now closed, but feel free to look at our past themes! See our "publication" tab for our most recent issues.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, our theme was 'transparency'. While our editorial team was inspired by Jennifer Morton's argument that first-gen college students deserve a "clear-eyed narrative," about upward mobility when we selected this year's theme, we encouraged artists and writers to submit work that evokes an interpretation of "Transparency" and any related subject matter. Your painting, poem, or film doesn't have to be about being a first-gen college student, but it can be!
Please email your submission to email@example.com. In the subject line please include " [Last Name]_Transparency Submission."
In your email, please include the following: 1. your submission as an attached a .pdf, word, .jpeg, .png, or .mp4 file. 2. your name, university, and what degree you're pursuing/earned. 3. how to best contact you about your submission. 4. [optional] a 100-250 word artist statement about how your piece relates to the theme of transparency.
